2025 – A Year in Review: Aventus Energy’s Highlights from the Past Twelve Months

Throughout 2025, we’ve overcome challenges, celebrated achievements, and delivered specialist integrated solutions internationally – none of which would have been possible without our incredible, hard-working team, the loyalty and trust of our clients, the support of our suppliers and, and the commitment & dedication of the project teams who represent Aventus on the ground, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional results. Together, we’ve built a foundation for continued success and growth into the year ahead.

With our service offering focused on Fabrication, Construction and Installation, IRM, and Asset Integrity, we have now delivered more than 250 projects with zero lost-time incidents and a 94% on-time completion rate. With over 500 skilled personnel across the UK and Las Palmas, our focus remains on scaling our capability to meet growing demand in offshore renewables while retaining the flexibility to respond to oil and gas opportunities as they arise.

This year, we have executed a number of offshore renewables projects, supporting our clients SSE, OceanWinds, CobraWind and Saipem. We were able to utilise our full in-house capabilities to execute the projects leaning on our Project Management Teams, Fabrication & Welding, Offshore Construction & Installation, Fabric Maintenance, Inspection & NDT, Mechanical and E&I. Collectively the projects delivered over 100,000 manhours.

In the oil and gas sector, a highlight was successfully completing a comprehensive circa 60-day work scope on the Noble Endeavor for Noble Corporation. Based at the Port of Nigg, the project saw the completion of 19 planned scopes and nine emerging scopes, all delivered ahead of schedule. Bringing together a range of key disciplines (including Rope Access Technicians, Welders, Fabricators, Scaffolders, and Mechanics), accounting for more than 45,000 man-hours were logged over the course of the project.

This year, we strengthened our industry connections in north-east Scotland by joining the Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce and the IADC North Sea Chapter, reinforcing our commitment to collaboration and best practice. We also enjoyed engaging with the wider energy community at events such as the Energy Exports Conference and SPE Offshore Europe in Aberdeen, and we exhibited at the UK Offshore Supply Chain Spotlight Exhibition in Edinburgh for the first time.

Our team travelled internationally, visiting partners in Japan to support the expansion of offshore and onshore renewable energy operations, sharing expertise in inspection, repair, and maintenance across some of the world’s most challenging offshore environments. And closer to home, we hosted Aventus Energy’s inaugural company golf day at Newburgh Links, held in partnership with OGV Group, providing a fantastic occasion for networking.

Ross Thomson, Managing Director of Aventus Energy, commented: “As the year comes to a close, I would like to thank our exceptional team and everyone involved in our projects. Year after year, our team doesn’t just meet expectations – they go above and beyond. Their efforts are the driving force of Aventus Energy and an essential part of this ongoing journey. From all of us at Aventus Energy, we wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Here’s to a bright and prosperous 2026!”

We are all very excited for 2026, having already secured significant projects within Offshore Renewables including Inch Cape Offshore Windfarm and Nordseecluster Offshore Windfarm respectively. Watch this space for further updates.
